Erica Olsen

Technology Safety Specialist

Erica Olsen is a Technology Safety Specialist for the Safety Net Project. Through training, technical assistance and policy advocacy, she addresses all forms of technology that impact survivors of stalking, sexual violence and domestic violence. Erica has been focusing on women and social change for more than 7 years, including working to end domestic violence at the local and state level. Prior to coming to NNEDV, Erica worked for the New York State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NYSCADV) and was the lead domestic violence trainer on a collaborative project to cross-train domestic violence and disability service providers. These collaborative trainings also covered technology safety and assistive devices for survivors with disabilities. Erica has a background in homeless services, policy advocacy, training and research; she has a Master's degree in Social Work and a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Management and Leadership from the Center for Women in Government and Civil Society.
