Rene Renick

Director of Programs & Operations

Rene Renick is the Director of Programs & Operations at NNEDV. She directs and manages the Allstate Foundation Domestic Violence Program, and provides training and technical assistance to state and local domestic violence programs in the area of economic justice and empowerment for victims of domestic violence. Rene also serves as NNEDV’s liaison with corporate foundation partners, administers NNEDV’s operational procedures and manages human resource functions. Rene has more than 16 years of experience providing support and services for victims of domestic violence. She started her career as an Outreach Therapist for battered women, and has also served as the Program Coordinator, the Vice President of Services, a Consultant and Trainer, and the Director of Community Programs for various domestic violence programs in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Rene is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling & Guidance and an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration. Rene is also the foremost training and technical expert on the Alice software, a complete client database and reporting solution for domestic violence and sexual assault agencies that collects data safety and securely, and provides reports on client demographics and activities.
