Altria Doors of Hope
The Altria Doors of Hope Program, a national grant-making initiative of Altria Group, Inc. and the National Network to End Domestic Violence Fund (NNEDV), was the largest corporate giving program supporting domestic violence shelters and programs across the U.S.
Since its inception in 1998, the Altria Doors of Hope Program awarded more than $26 million to hundreds of programs across the U.S. that offer safety, legal advice, and the opportunity to realize a life free of violence for domestic violence survivors.
With the introduction of initiatives such as a direct assistance fund, which provides direct emergency financial assistance grants to domestic violence survivors and their children who are fleeing abusive relationships, the Altria Doors of Hope Program responds to the needs of survivors and the programs that support them.
