As a national organization, NNEDV provides critical information and resources, training and assistance, policy advocacy and innovative programs to coalitions, agencies, and communities who are working to end domestic violence and supporting survivors. NNEDV does not provide crisis services. If you or someone you know is in danger please contact 911 or your local police.

For advocacy, counseling and referrals, you can call the National Domestic Violence Hotline 24 hours a day 7 days a week. There, an advocate can talk with you about your situation, your safety, and the options available to you. All conversations with advocates at the National Hotline are strictly confidential.

The Safest or Best Way to Reply is:
  1. Note: Be sure that someone dangerous to you doesn't know the password to your computer or account.
  2. (Many of NNEDV''s materials are available free of charge via email and we will send them to you as an attachment. NNEDV will send a paper packet if you do not have a private email address, but prefers to email information when it is safe for you.)
