Public Policy Director
The Public Policy Director is responsible for implementing NNEDV’s public policy initiatives and building the policy capacity of state domestic violence coalitions. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): representing NNEDV’s membership of state domestic violence coalitions; directing NNEDV’s national legislative agenda and influencing the federal response to domestic violence; managing relationships among national coalition partners; strengthening connections to policymakers on Capitol Hill and in federal agencies; overseeing direct lobbying, grassroots organizing and event planning; responding to media inquiries; strategic planning; and managing the Public Policy Team and working in close collaboration with other legal and program staff. Additional duties include drafting legislation and Congressional testimony and ensuring that policy materials (action alerts, fact sheets, etc.) are engaging and accurate.
Qualified candidates will have the following related skills and experience:

At least 5 years of substantive policy work, with at least 2 years at the federal level;

Significant experience with lobbying, grassroots organizing, and coalition-building;

A thorough understanding of the appropriations and legislative authorization process;

Supervisory and project management experience;

Exceptional time management and creative problem-solving skills, and ability to work well with minimal supervision; and

Excellent communication and public speaking skills.

Fiscal Manager
The Fiscal Manager is responsible for fiscal oversight of the organization and everyday financial management duties. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to): maintaining the general ledger and chart of accounts, processing and paying business bills, maintaining adequate audit files, preparing budgets and financial status reports, monitoring agency cash flow, processing payroll and maintaining payroll records, administering the agency’s employee benefit plan, and filing tax forms. Additional required duties are related to processing and preparing checks, preparing financial status reports for government grants and analyzing financials.
Qualified candidates will have the following related skills and experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting and/or financial management, CPA preferred;
- Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize projects when under deadline and work well with minimal supervision;
- Audit experience, preferably including experience with Circular A-133 audit requirements;
- Ability to accurately and efficiently manage financial functions of a $4 million organization, including preparing financial statements and reports, and working with management staff to develop the agency’s annual budget; and
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office programs and financial management software.
Also prefer experience with creating grant budgets, particularly for federal grant proposals; experience working with federal grants; and experience with managing restricted and temporarily restricted income.

Senior Development Director
The Senior Development Director is a full-time position responsible for directing and monitoring all annual and long-term fundraising strategies for the National Network to End Domestic Violence, with a priority emphasis on relationship building and increasing unrestricted revenue. The Senior Development Director:
- Updates and implements an annual development plan that incorporates fundraising goals, timetables, and strategies for membership, donor acquisition, corporate and foundation support and special events.
- Provides leadership, direction and coordination for fundraising and revenue generating initiatives that support agency strategic plans.
- Works closely with boards, President, project directors, corporate and foundation partners, and state domestic violence coalitions to engage new corporate and foundation partners to support NNEDV initiatives as well as movement-wide sustainability.
Job responsibilities include: resource development, including individual, corporate, foundation and government, as well as supervision of grant writing, fundraising activities, communications and branding.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Five years of development experience, preferably in the nonprofit and/or political environment;
- Familiarity with 501(c)(4) structure and demonstrated success in fundraising for 501(c)(4) nonprofit organizations;
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple relationships and priorities;
- Proven track record of cultivating and maintaining positive relationships;

Executive Director
The Family Crisis Center of Prince George’s County is an award-winning, comprehensive domestic violence service provider. The Family Crisis Center (FCC) provides education and support services for women, men and children affected by family violence. The Center, located in Brentwood, Maryland, provides wrap-round services, including residential programs for women and children.

Cayman Islands Crisis Centre (Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands)
Executive Director
The Cayman Islands Crisis Centre is a non-profit organization, whose primary mandate is to provide safe shelter to victims of domestic violence and their children in the Cayman Islands. The CICC is an 18-bed facility with a staff of six (6). Along with shelter services the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre works diligently to provide community education and awareness on topics related to domestic violence, and advocates for the rights of women and children. The Cayman Islands Crisis Centre also operates a 24-hour crisis line.
The Executive Director, reporting to the Board of Directors is responsible for implementing Board policies and for leading and administering the overall work of the Crisis Centre. The Executive Director works with the Board, and centre staff to accomplish the mission and mandate of the CICC. The Executive Director’s responsibilities include, but may not be limited to; the administration of all services provided by the CICC, financial management of the CICC’s budget, including grant applications and fundraising, personnel management, including hiring and dismissal of staff as needed, scheduling, training and annual appraisals. The Executive Director of the CICC plays a very important role in the community, often being called upon to speak on behalf of victims of domestic violence as well as to represent the CICC on various boards, committees and at various public speaking opportunities.
The Executive Director, reporting to a Board of Directors, is responsible for the overall operations of the CICC. Specific duties and responsibilities include:

Program planning and management: Develop, administer, implement and evaluate all programmes, policies and procedures in order to meet CICC’s objectives.

Training Specialist
The National Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NRCDV), a project of the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV), is seeking a Training Specialist.
The Training Specialist is responsible for providing domestic violence training and technical assistance within multi-issue and cross-disciplinary contexts. This training and technical assistance will be built upon high-quality research, analysis, information and resources on domestic violence and be provided to individuals and local, state, tribal and federal entities throughout the U.S. and abroad.
The Training Specialist will also serve as one of the lead staff for the development of NRCDV information and resource materials, assist with the development and ongoing operation of the NRCDV's toll-free information line and other means of providing training and technical assistance, and participate in the NRCDV's research and analytic processes of identifying issues and responses within the work to end domestic violence.
Position requires:
- any combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associates Degree and five years experience in work directly pertaining to domestic violence, social justice, systems advocacy or social change;
- knowledge and experience of planning, developing and implementing training and technical assistance specifically related to domestic violence, including the assessment of need, the development and delivery of resources, consultation and services and follow-up and evaluation;
- demonstrated understanding and commitment to issues of cultural diversity;
- domestic violence direct service experience strongly preferred;
- excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to facilitate critical thinking processes;

Family Violence Services Manager (Full-time/Exempt)
The Family Violence Services Manager reports to the Director of Support to Family Violence Services Providers. Using TCFV's strategic plan as a guide, this position is responsible for strengthening and expanding the capacity of family violence service providers and batterer intervention programs, budgeting, employee and programmatic evalutions, ensuring accurate reporting for internal and external sources, overseeing and ensuring that the day-to-day operations support the capacity building of family violence service providers.
The Family Violence Services Manager is responsible for the oversight and supervision of the Regional Family Violence Coordinators. Essential responsibilities/duties:
- Collaborates with TCFV staff in developing, establishing, implementing and evaluating operational initiatives, follows operational and strategic changes to best meet the needs of the organization and its constituents, particularly the family violence serivce providers and BIPPs.
- Ensures the alignment of staff and resources to fulfill agency objectives.
- Plans, develops, implements, oversees and evaluates programs that enhance support to family violence service providers, constituents and/or program initiatives as directed by the Director of Support to Family Violence Services Providers.
- Plans, develops, implements and evaluates programs to enhance family violence programs' and allies' capacity to provide quality services to meet their community's needs.
- Plans, develops, leads and evaluates advocacy with statewide family violence services providers.
- Makes recommendations for program and strategy changes and/or improvements.
- Builds, cultivates and maintains networking opportunities and advocacy with programs that intersect with those offered by family violence services providers.
- Plans, develops, leads and evaluates the implementation of training and technical assistance and capacity building options for statewide family violence programs.
- Builds, cultivates and maintains networking opportunities and advocacy with those who have the capacity to enhance and/or increase program services available for survivors of domestic violence and their families.
- Works collaboratively with Finance staff and manages annual budget, monitors expenditures and revenues monthly, ensures operations stay within budget allowances, recommends budget adjustments.
- Ensures timely and accurate reporting of grant activities, including contributing information for agency's funding applications.
- Leads and supervises staff in accordance with personnel policies, procedures and practices.
- Directs personnel matters, including hiring, evaluation, staff development, employee coaching/disciplinary actions and recommendations for promotion and/or dismissal.
- Ensures timely and accurate submission of evaluations, reports and other required or requested documentation.
- Assists in ensuring compliance with all TCFV contracts.
- Leads and facilitates activities to strengthen internal and cross-team management and team building.
- Collaborates with TCFV staff, to identify local, regional and statewide programmatic needs and trends.
- Collaborates with TCFV staff to research, collect and produce materials to meet the family violence service providers and batterer intervention program needs.
- Plans and implements trainings e.g. TCFV Annual Conference and New Workers Institute and assists in developing conference budget, coordinating specific staff assignments, workshop solicitations, development of written materials, presenter liaison and on site support as required.
- Utilizes effective, current, innovative methods to strengthen and expand the capacity of family violence service providers and batterer intervention programs.
- Stays informed on current events in each region and makes proactive calls to family violence service providers and BIPP programs.
- Ensures that calls and requests for technical assistance are responded in a supportive, timely manner.
- Represents TCFV and promotes TCFV through presentations and trainings.
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added and/or changed.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Strong team building and leadership skills to effectively manage Coalition activities through vision, strategic planning and expertise.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to elicit commitment to and advancement of TCFV’s mission and vision both internally and externally.
- Communication skills suitable for presentation and written publication, for internal and external distribution.
- Effective leadership and management skills to guide the Coalition’s response to changing environments and to develop the cultural climate required to implement new models of operation.
- Critical analytical skills to understand the political, social , financial and external issues affecting service providers; to foresee and interpret trends and the dynamic changing needs of TCFV members and; to develop process and resources to respond effectively and in a timely manner.
- Through knowledge of domestic violence issues and circumstances faced by those experiencing domestic violence.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work under tight and/or changing timelines; strong time management skills to coordinate and prioritized own and others’ activities, evaluate progress and provide feedback; and to relocate resources to complete activities with set deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- A minimum of five years experience in domestic violence programs including providing direct services to survivors and a minimum of 2 years in budgeting, hiring, terminating and supervising staff.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Human Services or Business Administration or related field or any combination of related education and experience with a documented record of the ability to perform duties and responsibilities of the position.
Other requirements/working conditions:
- Ability to read, write and converse in English; Spanish a plus.
- Availability to travel overnight occasionally.
- Must have emotional and physical stamina to tolerate prolonged sitting or standing to deal with a variety of stressful situations, including responses to complaints, difficult requests from programs and individuals in crisis, and internal and external interactions, to effectively work long and at times odd hours, while maintaining a sense of humor.
- Works in a normal office environment, except while traveling, with minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature extremes. Requires bending, stooping, lifting and carrying objects up to 25 pounds, with or without accommodations.
