Verizon Volunteers Deliver Household Necessities to Domestic Violence Shelters

More than 1,200 Verizon volunteers across the country took part in a 14-day Shower for the Shelter campaign to collect needed clothing, personal items and household supplies to support shelters that serve survivors of domestic violence. More than $450,000 worth of items were collected, a record-high amount that surpassed last year's total by approximately 10 percent.
