Mandarin Oriental, Washington, D.C. has announced that on Thursday, November 12th, it will donate half of all proceeds from all sales at its Spa to NNEDV. The proceeds will be generated from all treatments and programs, as well as all Zents products sold in its Boutique.

As we approach October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, NNEDV today announced that it has recognized four exceptional individuals and organizations for making a difference in the movement against domestic violence. As part of the "Take A Stand" Gala, NNEDV honored Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT), Rep. Ted Poe (R-TX-2), The Allstate Foundation and Sisters Acquiring Financial Empowerment.
