5K Walk to Benefit NNEDV

NWNC_5K_flyerOn Sunday, September 18, 2011, No Woman, No Cry: Stop the Silence of Domestic Violence will be hosting its first annual 5K Walk in memory of Jenny Vaughn-Bates, who was murdered by her abusive husband in 2010.

Proceeds from the Walk will benefit NNEDV and the Jenny Vaughn-Bates Memorial Trust Fund.

The Walk will begin at Forest Park High School in Woodbridge, VA at 8:30 AM.  You can register online prior to the event, or register onsite on the day of the walk (cash and checks accepted).  The online pre-registration fee is $25 per participant, and the onsite registration fee is $30 per participant.

No Woman, No Cry is also hosting a pre-event fundraiser on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at P.J. Skidoos in Fairfax, VA.

We hope that you will join us for one or both of these benefit fundraisers for NNEDV to raise awarenes about domestic violence!
