Allstate Foundation Domestic Violence Program

The Allstate Foundation's Domestic Violence Program is a groundbreaking initiative of The Allstate Foundation and NNEDV Fund, which addresses the pervasive, destructive barriers that domestic violence poses to the safety and security of women and their families.  The Allstate Foundation's Domestic Violence Program provides a holistic network of services for domestic violence victims and advocates that enable survivors to transition to stable, productive lives free from violence.

With more than 1.35 million American women accessing domestic violence services each year, The Allstate Foundation and NNEDV Fund are committed to targeting long-term resources to ending domestic violence and affecting the lasting social change crucial to building healthy, strong communities.  The Program focuses on providing the knowledge and skills that help victims of domestic violence achieve economic self-sufficiency.

The Allstate Foundation's Domestic Violence Program aspires to provide support for domestic violence victims and advocates, including:

  1. Supporting and building upon current best practices in addressing the needs of the domestic violence community;
  2. Funding innovative programs and campaigns that give women the knowledge and skills to being a new life;
  3. Filling the gaps where funding for programs and education is currently needed; and
  4. Increasing the number of helping hands in the community by encouraging Allstate employees to volunteer in support of domestic violence activities locally.
